Panama City Man Arrested on Aggravated Child Abuse

A Panama City man was arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse.

26-year-old Michael Elmer, of Panama City allegedly shook, struck and threw a three month old baby.

Elmer was left home alone with his two children, the baby and an 18-month old child while their mother was at work.

Investigators say Elmer allegedly hit the child repeatedly and shook her and threw her on the couch, but didn't call for medical attention.

When the baby's mother got home four hours later, the infant was taken to the hospital.

The baby has since been Life Flighted to Sacred Heart in Pensacola.

    Hell IS to good for him. I think all child abuse should served with a life sentence. Nobody should EVER hit a child.

    Hell is too good for him; he needs to have the same thing done to him as he did to that baby; he's sorry good for nothing excuse of a human being and doesn't deserve sympathy for anything from anyone; sorry sorry sorry worthless piece of crap is what he is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
