Man Charged in Plot to Kill Dale County Judge

OZARK, Ala. (AP) - A Houston County man is accused of plotting to kill a circuit judge and two other people.

According to Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson, Andrew Garner was arrested Wednesday and charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

Olson said investigators believe Garner hired someone to kill Dale County Circuit Judge Kenneth Quattlebaum, attorney Buddy Williams and a third individual who was not named.

Garner is being held in the Dale County Jail under no bond.

The sheriff said three law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, are investigating.
