John Mason is defending his elusive fiancée.
Jennifer Wilbanks skipped their Georgia town last week days before they were to be married. Wilbanks initially said she had been kidnapped, before admitting she voluntarily went to Las Vegas and then New Mexico.
Mason tells Fox News he still wants to marry Wilbanks. He says the guilt she's dealing with "has got to be enough consequence" for him.
His father tells ABC he wants his son to "take it slow" in deciding where to take the relationship. Claude Mason says if his son decides to go ahead with the wedding, the family will back him.
