The Citizen's Supervisory Committee voted Thursday morning to accept the changes to the Personnel Board. In a meeting held at the Dothan Civic Center, the committee agreed to the changes, with the addition of an appeals process for city employees during grievances.
The committee was given a short time period to look over the changes, and requested more time for additional review. The Citizen Supervisory Committee Chairman Mike Tew says they would like to see the changes fixed permanently. Although there is not enough time to get the changes through the regular legislative session, plans are to have them proposed in a special session.
