Slocomb Cheers for Mariah Carver

A little girl who was attacked by dogs more than two-months ago is back home with her family.

9-year-old Mariah Carver received a standing ovation Friday from faculty and students at Slocomb Elementary school.

She's been hospitalized and undergone numerous surgeries since she was attacked by five bulldogs in November.

The two teenagers who rescued Mariah were also honored during Friday's assembly.

I am so happy sweet Mariah is back to school, and doing well. Please let us know what has happend to these vicious dogs. Are they all rounded up..someone charged for "dogs on the loose?" Her whole live is changed because of the negligance of the family that didn't keep a check on their dogs. So what's happend to them ?

Child should not have been playing with the dogs, it would not have ever happened.
