Las Vegas police say they've arrested the woman who said she found a finger in her Wendy's chili on charges of grand larceny and attempted grand larceny.
Authorities won't provide more details until after a news conference this afternoon in San Jose, California. That's where Anna Ayala said she bit into the finger in a mouthful of chili.
She was arrested last night. Records show she was held without bail overnight at the Clark County jail in Las Vegas.
The president and CEO of Wendy's says the campany is "thrilled that an arrest has been made."
Ayala has a litigious history. She has filed claims against a former employer and General Motors, though court records don't show if she got money. She said she received 30-thousand dollars from El Pollo Loco after her daughter got sick, but restaurant officials have said they paid nothing.
