Two inmates who escaped from Covington County jail are back in custody.
Twenty-seven-year-old Oscar Roy Doster and 39-year-old Bobby Phillips were caught in Ozona, Texas after a random tag check by a Texas deputy. They were just a few miles from the Mexico border. The pickup truck they were in belonged to a Gantt man who was murdered days after the two men escaped.
Authorities said they plan to bring the men back to Alabama, where they face several charges, including murder.
