The mother of the boy who's accusing Michael Jackson of child molestation says she was reading from a script when she praised him in a video.
The woman also says she was sad and confused when she appeared in the video, in which she described Jackson as a father figure.
She says she was given a script to follow and was read questions that had been scripted. The woman also says she was instructed to say repeatedly that Jackson was a "wonderful father."
When asked by a prosecutor if she believed the things she'd said on tape, the woman said she'd just been acting.
Prosecutors say the woman and her family made the video under duress. They say the pop singer wanted the family to do the video to rebut a TV documentary showing Jackson with the boy, as the singer said he allowed kids to sleep in his bed.
