MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - A four-year-old boy is recovering at USA Medical Center today after suffering head and facial injuries when he was mauled by a pit bull.
Mobile Police said the attack on Bryant Gross happened yesterday just before 8 a.m. at a home off Cody Road.
Investigators determined that Bryant and an older sibling were wrestling inside their home when the family's pit bull stepped in and bit Bryant. The boy's right ear was also partially torn off.
No criminal charges were filed and animal control officers seized the dog.
The youngster was listed in fair condition.
