Liquor

The cities of Elba, Hartselle and Stevenson will decide wet/dry issues in the Nov. 5 general election. Randolph County will also decide the wet/dry issue.

Opelika, which is in a wet county and allows alcohol sales six days a week, also will have a referendum Nov. 5 on whether to add sales on Sunday.

Alabama has 41 counties that allow alcohol sales and 26 dry counties, according to figures from the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board.
