A jury has awarded $4.5 million to Duke's Vending Company, $500,000 in compensatory damages and $4 million in punitive damages.

The suit against Tom's Snack Food Company alleged intentional interference with business relations.

Adam Jones, an attorney for the plaintiff, said interference of Tom's Foods basically put Duke's Vending Company into bankruptcy.

The case was tried under Judge Lawson Little.
