Twenty-two-year-old Clifford Antonio Screws was already charged with robbing a Dothan motel. Now he has been charged with robbing another motel and video rental store.
Investigators from Albany, Georgia were in Dothan Tuesday looking over some of the evidence that was taken when Screws was arrested at his home in Eufaula last Friday.
Screws could be accused in more than 20 armed robberies in eight cities over a two-month period.
Screws is being held under a total bond of $300,000. He'll go to court Wednesday to try to have that amount reduced.
