A Kansas pastor says members of his congregation are "totally stunned and shocked" to learn one of their peers may be a serial killer.
Michael Clark tells NBC the Dennis Rader he knows was "a pleasant personality" who was active at Christ Lutheran Church.
Police believe Rader is responsible for three decades of terror in Wichita. He's being held on $10 million bond in the deaths of ten people between 1974 and 1991.
The city's mayor says the arrest means "people are able to sleep at night much better."
The killer gave himself the nickname BTK, which stands for "Bind, Torture, Kill."
