Hyundai Mobis on Its Way

A sister company to Hyundai Motor Corporation is considering sites in Montgomery and Pratville for a $40 million plant that will employ 400 people.

Hyundai Mobis announced last week in South Korea that it would locate a plant in Alabama.

An announcement is expected later this week from Hyundai Mobis on where the facility will be located. The plant would make parts for the new Hyundai Plant being built in Montgomery.

It would be the first supplier announced for the auto assembly plant.
