A Gordan man is behind bars in the Houston County Jail this morning on sex charges.
Twenty-six-year-old Marcus Melton was arrested Monday and charged with rape first degree and sexual torture.
Investigators say the victim reported the assault to school officials and was taken to the hospital and treated for injuries.
Melton's bond has been set at $500,000 on each charge.
