Houston County deputies have unraveled a major drug bust in Dothan.
The bust happened around 2:00 in the afternoon Tuesday, when deputies stopped a Cadillac driving down the 1000 block section of Park Street.
With the help of K-9 Unit, deputies seized 228 grams of cocaine totaling 25,000 dollars and a few grams of marijuana were found.
The driver, 28-year-old Myreon Manvel Faulk, and 31-year-old passenger, Christopher Jamod Smith, arrested and charged with cocaine trafficking.
The discovery stemmed from a 60 day investigation, and the sheriff’s office will continue the investigation for any additional suspects.
Both men are each being held on one million dollar bonds and they are scheduled to make their first appearance in court this afternoon.
We’ll have more on the drug bust and the men deputies say are responsible later today on News 4.
