A man on probation for drug trafficking and evading law enforcement is in jail.
36-year-old James Arnold of Graceville was arrested Monday by the Holmes County Sheriff's office.
Arnold has an active violation of probation warrant out of Holmes County.
He was on probation for trafficking in methamphetamine and has been running from the law for several months.
He was found at a home in northeast Holmes County near the Jackson County line.
Detectives say he was also possessing narcotics as wells as a fully loaded .22 caliber handgun.
