A Bay County woman who allegedly shot a rifle in the air after an altercation with another woman is in jail.
Investigators say 37-year-old David Broxson Jr. and 33-year-old Tamalina Carter both of Panama City went into a bar Sunday evening and left two children alone in their vehicle.
They left the children and two loaded rifles in the car.
Once inside the bar, carter reportedly saw another woman she had a history of altercations with.
She allegedly attacked the woman, pulling her hair and pushing her to the ground.
That's when deputies say Carter went back to her car, grabbed the rifle and fired it into the air.
Both Carter and Broxson are charged with child neglect.
Carter faces additional charges, including battery with a deadly weapon, and discharging a firearm in public.
