Local Business and Hollywood Star Help Katrina Victims

A local business and a Hollywood star have designed a fabric to help victims of Hurricane Katrina have a roof over their heads.

Twitchell has come up with "earth-tex" a 100-percent recyclable fabric.

The pink fabric will cover aluminum structures in the lower 9th ward in New Orleans.

The Make it Right Foundation started by actor Brad Pitt, is making the project possible.

Pitt was in New Orleans for a kick off event Monday. Twitchell employees are proud to have contributed to the efforts
