Police have released O.J Simpson's daughter on a promise to appear in court after she was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Nineteen year-old Sydney Simpson was charged last Saturday with
disorderly conduct and resisting arrest without violence. She refused to stop yelling at police officers who were called to a prep school basketball game to break up a fight in which she was involved.
Simpson yelled profanities at the officers who asked her to quiet down three time as a crowd of more than 15 people gathered around.
The report stated that the officer couldn't conduct an investigation because of her disorderly conduct.
Simpson slapped the officer's hand which lead to her arrest.
Two teenage girls told officers that Simpson hit them in the face. Sixteen year-old Karina Van-Ginkel and 17-year-old Simone Weissman refused to press battery charges.
