Jury selection in the Robert Blake murder trial begins in earnest Tuesday in Los Angeles.
It's been three and a-half years since the actor's wife, Bonny Lee Bakley, was shot to death outside a San Fernando Valley restaurant.
Legal experts say Blake's lawyers are looking for jurors who love a good mystery and may be open to conspiracy theories, while prosecutors are seeking conservative, common sense people who make quick decisions.
Nearly 700 prospects have already been turned down because of hardship. Some said the prospect of a five-month trial would impact them financially and personally.
About 100 potential jurors remain in the pool.
Blake has pleaded innocent to one count of murder, two counts of solicitation of murder and a special circumstance of lying in wait.
