Ozark Police Investigate Morning Murder

Ozark residents are keeping a tight lock on their doors after a man was murdered earlier Tuesday morning.

Authorities say around 2 a.m., 24-year-old Miles Ansley was shot at his home on 134 Orange Lane.

When authorities arrived they found Ansley in his hallway with a gunshot wound to the head.

He was taken to Dale Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

Chief Tony Spivey with the Ozark Police says he has reason to believe there was a motive.

If you have any information about the murder or suspects involved you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 774-9999, a thousand dollar reward is being offered.
