The People's Community Bank in Greenwood was robbed at gunpoint soon after it opened at 9 a.m. Monday, and three suspects arrested shortly afterwards.
They got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. But an investigator with the Jackson County Sheriff's Department spotted the suspects near Campbellton a short time later.
He pulled the car over on Highway 231 just South of the Alabama line. Investigators recovered a gun and the money taken in the robbery.
Three men are in custody. No names have been released.
