Nearly 600-Dothan Utilities customers were left without power for a while Thursday afternoon.
A communications tower collapsed near the corner of Wilson and Leona Streets and knocked down some power lines.
Dothan Utility crews were quickly on the scene.
City officials say about 590-homes and businesses were affected by the outage.
Power was restored in about an hour and a half.
The cause of the tower collapse is not known at this time, but gusty winds buffeted the city throughout much of the day.
