Two suspects who police say tried to rob a Wiregrass convenience store are behind bars.
Around 7:30 Thursday night, Headland police responded to a call at the Chevron located on Highway 431.
Police say a 16-year old male and a 30-year old male went into the store demanding money.
After a confrontation with the store clerk, police say the suspects fled on foot, empty handed.
Two and a half hours later police arrested the men they say were behind the attempted robbery.
They are set to make their first appearance at the Henry County Courthouse.
