Sergeant Ivan Keith Gray dropped a bombshell during Tuesday's commission meeting.
Gray is accusing the Dothan Police Department of discriminating against him because he's African American.
The 20 year police veteran says he was pushed in a corner, and had no choice but to go public with his claim.
Chief White plans to retire in less than three weeks and Sergeant Gray has applied for the job.
