New Teen Driving Course Approved

The Dothan Police Department has created a collision avoidance training program to educate drivers on safety and defensive driving skills.

The program was approved at the Dothan City Commission meeting.

Officials hope it will give teens an idea on how to act in a real life situation on the road.

The cost of the course is 70 dollars per participant and will feature hands-on instruction in the student's own vehicle.
