The author of the "Harry Potter" books says another character will die in the next installment of the popular series.

JK Rowling refuses to say who that will be. However, it's a sure bet it won't be Potter himself.

The sixth book is due out next year. It's to be called "Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince."

Rowling has said Potter will survive until the seventh and final book. No word, though, on if he'll survive that one.

The author is well known for keeping details of her books under tight wraps, teasing readers with tiny morsels of information.
