Enterprise E-911 Guidelines

Enterprise residents could soon face citations for not posting their street addresses.

E-911 coordinator, Lon Jones, says a number of residents and businesses don't have their street address posted.

In the event of an emergency, these numbers should be prominently displayed.

It could be the difference between life and death.

The Enterprise council has approved an ordinance which puts into place a series of fines for those who don't display their street address.

Enterprise residents and business owners have 30-days before the city will start to cite those who don't post their addresses.

Just what are the Acceptable Size and Color of the Letter and Numbers? Just where are these Address to be Displayed? Driveway, Mail Box, Front Yard??? How about some Guidelines rather than threatening to issue citations all at once. I'm sure that the News Media would print the requirements at the request of the city.
