Ordinance to Target Mobile Home

New Brockton’s mayor pro-tem is questioning whether his city made a mistake about a proposed controversial law.

Councilman Johnnie Herron says the mobile home ordinance may prevent people from locating in New Brockton.

This past summer, the council limited where a manufactured home could be located within the city-limits.

A variance board was set up to hear from those who feel a manufactured home is their only alternative.

A final reading of the mobile home ordinance will take place at the city's December council meeting.

Not only is New Brockton a speed trap. The mayor and city council and some residents of that city don't like freedom. It is wrong that they are taking some people's freedom of where they put a mobile home in their friendly little city. You all live in New Brockton, Al USA. Not New Brocton Iraq or mother Russia.
