A driver's seizure apparently was the cause of a car accident in downtown Dothan.
30-year-old Dennis Shultz Jr. was driving northbound on Oates Street around 10 am when he began to have a seizure.
Officials say Shultz began swerving, hit a car then rear-ended a pick-up truck and finally ended with the front of his Ford truck smashed into a side barrier.
When police arrived Shultz was still in an active seizure and was taken to the Dothan Medical Center.
No one else in the accident was injured.
There is no word about Shultz’s condition.
