DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) - A welcome home ceremony will be held Saturday morning for 160 soldiers assigned to the 186th Engineer Company out of Dothan.
The unit recently returned to the U.S. after a year in Iraq.
According to an Army National Guard spokesman in Montgomery, the 186th mobilized in July of last year.
Soldiers were assigned to various roadway construction projects in Iraq.
The 186th arrived at Fort McCoy in Wisconsin on Monday. The welcome home ceremony at Fort Buntin-Parson armory on 3rd Avenue
will start at approximately 10:30 a.m.
The public is invited to attend.
