There is a possible break in the case of a murdered Dothan man. Police and SWAT teams searched a Dothan home and made several arrests.
Police had a warrant to search a home on the 600 block of West Powell Street,
SWAT team members entered the home just after 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in search of narcotics.
They found marijuana and crack cocaine inside the house.
Three people were taken into custody and are being interviewed by police.
Police say there is a possibility this could lead them to information about last weekend's murder of a local DJ.
Lt. David Jay, with the Dothan Police Department said, “We're trying to use this in relation to the homicide we had last Sunday, Robert Moore, and we're hoping it’ll have some leads for us. “
Police are unsure of whom they are going to charge and what the charges will be,
However, they say they will charge all three people if possible, depending on how the interviews go and how much narcotics were found.
Police have not given any information on how the warrant was obtained, but we will be following this case as it develops.
