Honda soon begins screening applications for those 2,000 new jobs coming with the plant expansion at Lincoln. Monday was the deadline to request applications.
Alabama Industrial Development Training is working with the Alabama State Employment Service to screen and train applicants.
Honda officials said completed applications must be postmarked by Oct. 7 and returned for the initial screening.
Only those applicants selected for the training program and who complete it will be eligible for a job at the plant.
