A woman posts bond after being arrested for attempting to kill her uncle in an Ozark rehabilitation center.
Officials say Mary Curry was visiting her uncle on his birthday at the Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center.
The nurse had left the two alone in the room.
She returned a short time later after hearing loud music coming from the room.
The nurse says the patient appeared distressed and had a towel wrapped around his neck.
“The medical items on him had been removed so when she started there she didn't have an opportunity to speak with Curry who was there in the room other than stop and ask her to wait to talk with her Ms. Curry left," says Deputy Chief Myron Williams of Dale County.
Curry is charged with attempted murder, She's set to be arraigned later this month.
