A suspect wanted for stealing personal checks is behind bars.
Friday, police arrested 31-year old Tekemia Williams Kelley of Dothan. She is accused of stealing checks and trying to pass them off as her own.
Kelley is charged with six counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument.
Police obtained a surveillance video from a grocery store in Dothan, where they say Kelly allegedly wrote one of the bogus checks.
Police are also looking for 31-year-old Greg Kelley of Eufaula. He is wanted for questioning of his involvement with the crime.
Kelley is currently being held at the Houston County Jail.
Tekemia faces 1 to 10 years in prison for each count of forgery.
