On Tuesday, Troy University announced it had launched TrojanTXT, an alternative way to send non-emergency notifications to its students.
TrojanTXT is a service that students can sign up for. Unlike the currently-running SOS program, this service offers notifications of a non-emergency nature.
These include notifications of upcoming deadlines, registration notices, financial aid refunds and matters related to billing.
