DUBLIN, Ga. (AP) - The Rev. Scott A. Benhase has been elected
10th bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia.
Benhase's election came Saturday on the second ballot of the
electing convention held Saturday in Dublin
Benhase is Rector of St. Albans Episcopal Church in Washington
D.C. He has also served parishes in North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio,
He replaces the Rt. Rev. Henry Louttit, the diocese's ninth
bishop, who is retiring.
