Police believe they've found the 22-caliber rifle a Georgia man was aiming at young children as they boarded a school bus.
Someone in Clayton County saw the sniper aiming at the kids on Monday and managed to chase him away.
Police say the gunman abandoned the rifle in a yard.
The would-be shooter also apparently left a note behind that had a list of school bus numbers and drop-off times.
Police say they have persons of interest in the case, but no arrest has been made.
