The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was requested to assist the Seminole County Sheriff's Office in the death of two individuals that were found at 5503 River Road, in Seminole County.
The Sheriff’s Office received an emergency 911 call from the residence at approximately 7 p.m. requesting assistance, and when deputies arrived they found the bodies of Johnny Nathey, 58, of Quincy Fl and Duane Derr, 34, Sneads Fl, inside the residence.
Both men had multiple gunshot wounds and were transported for autopsy to the GBI Crime Lab.
According to Officials, there appears to have been some type of altercation at the residence. The name of the other individual involved in the altercation has not been released at this time.
The investigation into this matter by the GBI’s Regional Office in Thomasville continues.
