VALDOSTA, Ga. (AP) -- Lowndes County Sheriff Chris Prine says a Valdosta woman has been arrested on multiple counts of identity theft.
Prine said 27-year-old Belinda Renee Harris was arrested Monday following a federal and state investigation of identity theft cases involving fraudulent income tax filings. He said the investigation also resulted in the arrest of 20-year-old Aaron Lamar Casey of Valdosta on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
WCTV-TV reports the two remain in jail.
