The family of the Valdosta teen found dead in a gym mat is filing a lawsuit.
The Johnson family is suing Lowndes County Sheriff Chris Pine and Coroner Bill Watson.
They say they have the right to know how investigators determined Kendrick Johnson’s death was an accident.
The family and CNN have filed suit and requested all investigative finds be released.
They're focused on the full surveillance video from the gym.
The Johnson’s family lawyer said, "It should show either Kendrick entered the mats as theorized or he was brought to the gymnasium other than his own power."
Another lawsuit filed against the coroner requests he grant a coroner's inquest.
That's where the coroner would present information on Johnson’s death and jurors would decide based on that information how he died.
