A suspicious fire has destroyed a former cotton mill in Douglasville, Georgia.
The blaze destroyed the former General Western Cotton Mill, which dated back to 18-97.
Fortunately nothing was stored in the building.
Firefighters said they received a 911 call shortly after midnight and arrived to find the building engulfed in flames.
Since the structure was highly flammable, fire officials decided to let the fire burn itself out and protect surrounding properties.
No other structures were damaged.
