AL.com -- Earlier this week, Subway came under fire for using a chemical called azodicarbonamide, which is typically found in things like shoe rubber and yoga mats.

Exposure to humans can be dangerous and cause respiratory problems, and evidence that the chemical strengthens dough is shaky at best.
