Subtropical Storm Beryl

Jacksonville is getting ready for a big storm expected to hit today.

Subtropical storm Beryl is gaining strength and could dump several inches of rain and bring strong wind from northeastern Florida to South Carolina.

Jacksonville's mayor is asking people to make preparations for the storm.

A major concern for that area is flooding.
