DECATUR, Ga. (AP) -- DeKalb County District Attorney's officials say a serial rapist has been given three consecutive life sentences plus 484 years in prison.
Authorities said 23-year-old Trever Blue was accused of assaulting 16 women between 2009 and 2010 and was sentenced on Thursday. Blue was charged with rape, sexual battery, aggravated assault and burglary.
District Attorney Robert James said he hopes the sentence will help victims and their families heal from the attacks.
One of the women Blue assaulted was in court and said she'd pray for her attacker.
