"This is our way of saying thank you to the parents and the children for believing in Primary Care of Southwest Georgia."

Dr. Ann Addison and other physicians at Primary Care of Southwest, Georgia work long hours serving Early County with easy access health care.

Saturday's celebration recognized doctors and elected officials for their dedication. But Dr. Addison says its all about the kids.

"This is an opportunity for them to have a great time at no cost to the parents. Because a lot of times children can't go to events where they can have fun, without paying a fee, says Addison.

Primary Care began serving the community eight years ago.The center recently welcomed the first pediatrician of Early County, Doctor Muralli Yelugapuri.

"It's been a great year for me and I'm in my second year of my service here. It has been great serving the population here," says Yelugapuri.

The center has a few goals in mind as it expands the services it offers.

"Getting bigger and better to serve more communities and increasing access to care."

The center also serves a thousand patients a month at its location in Thomasville, Georgia.
