There are many local and regional races on the ballots, but the banner race is the race for the president of the United States.

And, across our area, each state has its own set of presidential candidates.

In Georgia, you can choose from three candidates for president.

That's the state with the fewest officially on the ballot in our area.

There are a couple more on the ballot here in Alabama, where voters have five to choose from, including candidates from smaller groups such as the Green and Constitution parties.

But, Florida definitely takes the cake with no less than a dozen to choose from in the sunshine state!

Each one of these candidates represents a different political party, major or minor. These include Roseanne Barr.

Of course, all voters in every state also have the option to write-in.
