Police Say Ga. Officer's Wife Beaten Unconscious

Authorities say the wife of a DeKalb County police officer is in critical condition after she was beaten outside of the couple

LITHONIA, Ga. (AP) -- Authorities say the wife of a DeKalb County police officer is in critical condition after she was beaten outside of the couple's Lithonia home.

Investigators told WSB-TV that the woman was badly beaten and left unconscious outside the couple's garage area.

Authorities say they do not know who assaulted the woman. They did not identify the woman or her husband.

    It probably was her ol' husband. He probably was caught red handed by her and he got enraged and beat her. She probably knows something on him thats embarassing and she probably said she was going to tell it.
