The Community Eligibility Option is part of Michelle Obama's Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act.
Eleven states in the U.S. are participating in the free breakfast and lunch program.
Kay Fleet, Nutrition Director for Miller County Schools says they're encouraging students to participate.
"I would just say that our whole community is excited about this and we're just looking forward to serving the students in Miller County and we hope that our participation continues to go up each day," Fleet said.
The program's future and the money the school gets for these meals depend on student participation numbers.
